Some say that blind faith is enough, but you argue blind faith feeds animosity to our neighbors. This is clearly not the way, the heart is not sufficient alone. We must engage The Mind.............

"But the seed falling on good soil refers to someone who hears the word and understands it. This is the one who produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown."

Nice quote from scripture! You think blind faith is referring to the heart? Interesting

Excellent! This is a great piece for millennials. I would also suggest doing some digging into the stabilization of new trends, because "postrationalism" seems to be subduing postmodernism in the past year. The younger generations are coming into faith from a very different angle we're still articulating. I'm wondering how they come at this.

Yeah and nobody can agree on what postrationalism even means hah. I'm definitely curious for the Zoomers and others not sure how they view religion. I think from the ones in my life it's mostly... apathy.

also, "nobody can agree on what X even means" is an extremely postmodern rationalist response. do with that what you will. It would be normie to wait for consensus if you're asking me

Actually, the people I see speaking about it are relatively consistent. I'm sure there's academic poisoning from those who don't subscribe to it, but it's something like post-postmodernism, an old millennial rejection of 2010s new atheist rationalism, which focuses on investigating the consistent validity of what zoomers call "vibes". Lest that sound nonserious, people who were once rationalists are saying they "rely on vibes as a basis for research and data gathering to draw conclusions"--with an eye out for confirmation bias of course because such are well-grounded due to a rationalist past. There's a lot to be said about this subject because it's new and we're still in a transition, but I would say don't wait on some supposed authority to get in front of you and hand you a stamped definition.

The opposite of love is NOT hate,

it's indifference. 😔🩶🙊😿🤷🏻😒

Apathy has a very extreme gravity and cynical pull.

Yeah and sadly more and more young men especially are getting sucked into apathy. It's easier than ever now with the massive amount of distractions available - TV, music, video games, porn, et cetera.

Really tragic to see. I know multiple young men in their 20s who just sit around all day - no school, no work, very few IRL friends. I do worry for them.
